A long walk down Memory Lane | At Mommer
Yesterday, when Hans came across the stone bowl which Aage and later Ragnhild could tell me it was, it was also my parents' many photo albums pulled out. It is the last chance now, the farm will be emptied of swallows this week, so now it should be with the pictures. After dinner yesterday we sat down with all the albums and went through the pictures - each of us took what we wanted to pick, the other two either nodded a right to it, or, in rarer cases, said one or both of the the picture could also imagine, after which it was placed in a pile for later copying. The pile was not as great as we both logically was interested in images that were most associated with that, but that was obviously overlap, so to speak.
Ohhh where we remembered all three. Together and separately. I pulled course most pictures of Charlotte and me sæ'l out of context. To the right and above shows a proof that I have been slim. Sigh. That was then. It was just for about eight years ago. Charlotte with the farm's new foal - I have a feeling that C has borrowed his aunt's riding boots and ... hmmmm ... I have shown also stuck in borrowed clogs in the right picture. kangastukku
Charlotte bit older, now with their own ride dust and promoted to may be responsible for his cousin Heidi while it sat on Charlotte's Welsh Mountain pony. Now, the small Heidi even a little baby ...
It is now super nice to look back in time in this way. There were lots of pictures of the father from his many years as one of byrødderne in our community - there were photos of the many celebrations that over time is kept either on the farm or in rented premises - there were photos of some of the holidays in my Youth and my sisters' childhood, not so much for taking dad most slides. These Bodil brought home to sort - a mammoth task, but there is no rush.
My own image stack was about three cm. They must now be scanned, so I have them electronic, paper version gets Charlotte when I'm finished scanning. I started, as indeed clearly apparent from the observations kangastukku here, but it's a bit of a work of patience, which is not my strongest point.
We finish off with mom's 75th birthday in 2000, when we only had family and father's 85th birthday in 2005, when we were about 50, which was to celebrate him. He also kept his 90th birthday, but it was on the farm, and only children, kangastukku children's and great-grandchildren, and one nephew, ie. our cousin. Merete, heavily kangastukku pregnant Charlotte and I are, as far as I can see, going with the responsible task to put glass cards on so people can find their seats - and father as usual going to check whether kangastukku we had control of things ...
I regret this for all you totally uninteresting post but I had to just go for a walk along the path reduces - or whatever it's called in Danish. You can be happy that I was only on a very, very small part of the ...
I and my brothers have just been the same trip through since my mother 2 years ago, had a nursing home. Basically it's seriously nice to revisit the old pictures. - And reports. kangastukku Especially my dad was good at writing. My mother has in turn saved EVERYTHING possible. We sort still, all 4
It's really exciting - and certainly not uninteresting - to see you and C. the younger versions. Pictures are amazing and especially old photos have so much history to offer. In connection with my family history, kangastukku I gather thousands of old pictures, and I am very happy every one. So take us just a little further down Memory Lane
It's nice to see some pictures from your past. There's a difference between seeing a 4-5 images with well-chosen comments and then being forcibly hospitalized for several kangastukku hours slide or cine performance, which is probably really should be banned by law.
It is truly a quantum leap in digital images kangastukku instead of paper-ditto. The digital images are much easier to share, for example. Of course there is no one really knows if they can keep for 100 years for example., But I imagine that it is a matter of sufficient backup to the media, which now becomes the most used in the near future .
Thank you - it's selvfølelig right, and yes: still and similar performances shun we like the plague all of them, I guess. You are right in that the storage medium is the eternal debate, but probably also right that frequent backup may be the solution. As a pharmaceutical company, we are legally obliged to store all product-related data for 25 years. It's a bit of a challenge purely IT-generated ...
Funny that you can see it - it's especially Aubrey, who is her mother's spitting image. But it is also a little amusing to see Charlotte's and my profile on the bottom, rightmost image. kangastukku Just wanted to wish my mother had also been 'caught' ip
