The Ritz-Carlton Group has two beautiful places in Dubai. A hotel on the beach and a hotel in the city center. Depending on whether your trip is motivated by business, shopping, or the sun, you can opt for one or the other ... or both.
It is a design hotel, consisting of 14 floors, 300 rooms and more especially privileged to all areas north of the city: The Dubai Mall (the largest shopping center of the city), the Burj Khalifa (the tallest tower in the world) and the International Airport.
We stayed in a suite called "Club", located on the 13th floor and offering access to a range of services dedicated to rooms on the top 2 floors (a sort of VIP area shall we say).
The space includes a dedicated restaurant san antonio malls for breakfast, open all day with a lounge like an Airport Lounge space: for the job and with an open bar customers.
The Ritz-Carlton has no gourmet restaurant unlike some of its competitors in Dubai but it offers several high quality restaurants. On this subject, go take a look at our article on the Reflections restaurant run by Pierre Gagnaire.
The hotel also has a lounge, a Steak House, and a Thai restaurant. We loved the name of the Lounge: No. 5, probably nod to some olfactory creation of Chanel.
Wines are rare in Dubai. Alcohol is very controlled and generally very expensive. For French and see a bad Médoc 200 or 300 euros surprises and shocks. The Ritz nevertheless invested in a splendid wine cellar containing rare and popular references.
The Hotel is located in the city center, it does not have a beach. However, there is another Ritz-Carlton in Dubai which is itself located by the sea, with a great location. The hotel is beautiful and deserves to come and spend some time.
